Hello, hello, comic book aficionados everywhere! It’s mighty fine to see your smiling faces in the new year that is 2020! Hopefully the first few weeks have treated you kindly and you’re keeping up with your comic book speculation-related resolutions! Per usual, we’re starting things with a brief recap on the podcast before this one. One of last week’s highlights was our discussion over the top ten comic book variants of the year! If you haven’t checked out what they are, then go and do so! Some of these modern gems might just be the books to hang on to for a while yet.
Going nearly an hour, you bet there was plenty of material discussed in our latest podcast. An easy thing to overlook that we mentioned, was the comic Moon Knight #20. Reprinting Moon Knight’s first appearances, this is a book that’s starting to come across people’s radar. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also a black and white sketch variant that’s definitely worth hunting down. That Moon Knight TV show will be upon us before you know it and if you haven’t been stocking up on the MK keys, then you’re just about out of time!
Furthermore, in case you’ve been living in the outer cosmos, you’re aware of the popularity surrounding Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Since Day 1, the TMNT craze hasn’t stopped and nothing demonstrates this more than recent sales of a 9.8 copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1. The price tag, all things considered, was pretty nuts, so be sure to listen in if you want the full story about it and several other TMNT keys you might not know about!
