Hey Comic Fam!
If you've watched me our videos on YouTube, you have heard me complain about FOC or Final Order Cutoff. FOC is the deadline that we as Comic Shop Owners NEED your book orders so we can guarantee you get the titles you want. After this deadline, you may not get your book. This is supposedly to help the publishers get an accurate print count and give shops a chance to tabulate how popular a book is becoming over the past month.
Part of the problem with FOC right now is that we have Publishers, Writers and Artists who can post IMMEDIATELY on Social media. How many times do you wake up to the news that Jonboy Meyers or Clayton Crain has a new HOT variant that you NEED to ask your store about and either the release is 6 months away OR tomorrow...
It happens.
It sucks.
For us too.
I try to get everyone the books they want, but the industry moves so QUICKLY that we can't always know what's going to happen.
That's why I am going to be contributing this weekly article of MY FOC PICKS to try and help you decide what you want and what to look forward to!
If you are a subscriber to my patreon, this will be a good chance for you to turn in your orders for things you have missed! If you go to other shops, it's a good time to call or e-mail your shop!
DC has FOC on Sunday and Diamond has it Monday. Some weeks I will do One, some weeks, the will be two and I will write a blog for both. This will definitely be an article you want to check out every week!

Peach Momoko is HOT and we all know this. She had an incredible cover for the Crow Lethe issues #1-3 and it sold out almost immediately!
FOC for the second print of these 3 books is MONDAY 9/6 and the release date 9/30. These are important to know because there are people selling on eBay right now for 2 to 5 times cover price and even one person stating, "Very Low Print Count" with a Buy it Now of $85 for #1 Second print. I just bought 5 of these for my store, I assure you, they are orderable and available. Don't fall for it, just ask your store!

James Tynion is having an incredible year with Batman Joker War and Something is Killing the Children. He has a new book coming out, Department of Truth! While the Ratio Variants (1:100 and 1:50) are hot, I like the Cover B Jenny Frison Variant. Cutoff tomorrow.

Spawn #310
Spawn has been popular lately, but this is a weird one. There is a SECRET percentage variant that Image is supposed to send to shops in a 20% ratio of ordered copies of Spawn #310. If you are trying to get the B&W variant, help out your shop by grabbing some of the regular covers.
