Below you will find a mix of multiple publishers covering Superhero and indie comics. If you want to see my list of The Top 20 Covers for December 2019, CLICK HERE.

Get ready for lots of red covers lol. Let’s begin!

BATMAN BEYOND #38 VAR ED – DC Comics

Is this when we find out who is Batwoman Beyond? There is a ton of buzz around the last issue BB37 and if you want that you might be forced to pay upwards of $15. You can see if you can grab a copy Here. Looking ahead, I can see all of these Variant covers being on my top 5 list for the near future. The cover artist Francis Manapul is killing it. After all these years, Derek Powers, long thought dead, returns! The lethal villain, who now goes by the name Blight, is back to terrorize Neo-Gotham while he hunts down Bruce Wayne! With Terry McGinnis wanted by the police and on the run, the only person who can stop him is Batwoman! But how do you stop a walking nuclear reactor when you barely know how to use your own high-tech suit?

KILLADELPHIA #1 - Image Comics

I love a good mystery! I'm excited to check out this new title. Bonus points if you can find the Mattina cover, because that is a hot book! SERIES PREMIERE! "SINS OF THE FATHER," Part One-Featuring the show-stopping talents of SPAWN series artist JASON SHAWN ALEXANDER and the writer behind such hit shows as Wutang: An American Saga, Marvel's Runaways, and Starz's American Gods-RODNEY BARNES. When a small-town beat cop comes home to bury his murdered father-the revered Philadelphia detective James Sangster Sr.-he begins to unravel a mystery that leads him down a path of horrors that will shake his beliefs to their core. The city that was once the symbol of liberty and freedom has fallen prey to corruption, poverty, unemployment, brutality... and vampires. Welcome to KILLADELPHIA.

Basketful of Heads #2 – DC Comics Cover A or B

Great series from DC Black Label and I am looking forward to the next installment. Fun fact, the writer Joe Hill is horror legend Stephen King's son. It's a good thing he changed his name because I'm not sure if I would read a horror title written by Joe King.

Hunted to the point of exhaustion, June Branch struggles to outwit and outfight the home invader coming after her. He's armed with a .44 and a secret agenda; she's got a thousand year-old Viking relic and no way to escape. The axe is about to fall in the topsy-turvy second chapter of the horror story with the sharpest edge in comics! Fears escalate and a full moon rises over the HMS Havoc in chapter three of the "Sea Dogs" backup tale, written by Joe Hill!

VENOM #20- Marvel Comics

We made it, the last Absolute Carnage tie in is here. It's time to find out who Knull's son is and if he is finally coming to earth after his prison escape. It's the final tie-in to ABSOLUTE CARNAGE, but that doesn't mean Donny Cates and Iban Coello are easing up off the gas! You want to know what happens in this one, True Believers? You're going to have to read it! Rated T+

TALES FROM THE DARK MULTIVERSE INFINITE CRISIS #1 – DC Comics

These Tales from the Dark Multiverse books are awesome. They take iconic stories we all love and change them slightly. I was a huge fan of the whole Dark Knights Metal run and the one offs like Red Death and The Devestator so this is right up my ally. DC's mega-event "Infinite Crisis" saw the destruction of the Trinity, the rise of Alexander Luthor and Superboy-Prime, and the rebirth of the Multiverse...but it all started with Ted Kord, the Blue Beetle, who saw it all coming and died with secrets that could've saved the world. But...things happened differently in the Dark Multiverse! Not only does Blue Beetle survive- he thrives! And after killing Maxwell Lord himself, Ted sets off a chain of events that irreversibly alters the lives of the Justice League and his best friend, Booster Gold. In trying to prevent a crisis, Blue Beetle becomes the Crisis...and the Dark Multiverse will never be the same.

That's the top 5 books for this week. Let me know if I missed any books you are excited about by leaving me a reply in the comments below. Happy Hunting!
